Kraftwerk - Numbers. scatmanjohn3001. 2009 г. From the Computer World Album. Nummern 2009 Remaster. Kraftwerk is the debut studio album by German electronic band Kraftwerk. It was released in Germany in 1970, and produced by Konrad Conny Plank. Chief Kraftwerk members Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider used two drummers during the recording of the album Andreas Hohmann and Klaus Dinger. Their playing provides the music with a rock edge. This proves to be quite distinct from Hütter and Schneider's previous band Organisation, or the following pair of Kraftwerk albums, Kraftwerk 2 and Ralf und. Kraftwerks debut album barely exists its been quietly ushered out of the official records by de facto leader Hütter. A pity, really. Its not tearing up any trees in the 31st century electronica stakes, but its still a fascinating record. More of a full band at this point, Kraftwerk are skirting around the edges of free jazz on Ruckzuck with Schneider mucking about on the flute, of all things, and not for the last time and getting motorik on the epic Stratovarius. The centrepiece of Kraftwerks 2004 tour, this comeback album saw them freewheel effortlessly into the 21st century. Lets be honest though they were there already. Kraftwerk NumbersComputer World 2. If Trans-Europe Express and The Man-Machine helped lay the blueprint for electro, then Computer World completed it. If every new Kraftwerk album saw a bit of humanity creeping into The Robots' sleek image, then Tour De France was the culmination: a chugging electro track focused on the bicycle, featuring the short breaths of a racing cyclist as percussion. Released as a non-album single in 1983, it was another big success for the band, and the last impactful piece of original music they would ever put out 1986's Electric Cafe, also known as Techno Pop, is good, but not on the same level

BAD BOOTLEG

i hate it when people who know that KRAFTWERK is a well known band with rare and only a few productions, want to make money of fools

The album cover may suggest that this cd is full of chumbawamba remixes but don't be fooled, it's actually a recording of Kraftwerk playing live in Tokyo 1981! So if you come across this you should get it. It's a pretty rare find, and most importantly the arrangements from this performance are very interesting. The playing is loose and expressive, some songs have completely new elements added in. The final track here, which someone named "fun to computer", is a totally new take on "it's more fun to compute", with hypercharged drum machines driving the song until the end where it crashes into a spiraling sequencer pattern. It is hard to imagine how great it would be to have seen Kraftwerk at this time. This would probably be an essential Kraftwerk collectible if it had the real cover and was more available.

A great release. This is of a great Japanese show of the 1981 Computer World tour, which was broadcast. The sound quality is beautiful (being a soundboard recording). There's quite a bit missing, but what's here is wonderful.

Very rare and expensive, the UK is supposedly lower quality material wise, but it much more plentiful and cheaper, so going after that one would be a more wise decision.

A good bootleg. the soundquality is good except in the middle of autobahn. there it is getting quiet. later in the song the loudness
getting normal. the recording is not the complete concert. the model, geigercounter, radioactivity, the voice of energy, ohm sweet ohm, hall of mirrors, mitternacht, pocket calculator and the beginnig of numbers is missing. the beethoven-intro is a good song too, but it is not from kraftwerk. it's from wendy carlos. but all in all this bootleg is recommendable. i would sell it for not more than 40 €.
